One-In-Teen (OIT) is one of the oldest non-profit organizations serving the GLBT community in Middle Tennessee. Founded in 1989, OIT seeks to provide a safe, supportive, and confidential place where gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, & questioning (GLBTQ) youth ages 14-21 can be themselves, explore their feelings, make friends, participate in special events, gain a sense of self-identity, & build self-esteem. The best know OIT programs are the Wednesday youth group and annual Alternative Prom.
