Michael Fluck / President & Chairman of the Board (2010-2012)

Michael Fluck brings a wealth of marketing and analytical skills to the Chamber Board of Directors. Currently he works for Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire, LLC in the capacity of Advertising and Internet Manager.

 
Jerry Jones / Executive Vice President (2010 - 2012)

Jerry Jones is the publisher of Out and About Newspaper, Tennessee’s largest monthly GLBT newspaper, and executive producer for Out & About Today TV, a GLBT news and information show on WTVF NewsChannel 5+. Additionally, Jerry serves as the LifeFlight Public Affaris Manager at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

 
David Lazarus / Secretary (2010-2012)

David holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration and also a Specialist Certificate in Health Care Administration and Planning.

 

 

David has been a member of the Chamber for a number of years serving as an at-large Board Member during 2007 and 2008.  David has worked in the health care industry for more than 15 years, most recently serving as a compliance director for one of the nation's largest suppliers of medical equipment.

 
Cathy Werthan / Board Treasurer (2010 - 2012)

As Founder and President of CPA Consulting Group, PLLC (CPACG), Cathy provides accounting, auditing, and tax and consulting services to individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations. She is a CPA, a Registered Investment Advisor, has the PFS designation with the AICPA and is a licensed health and life insurance representative in Nashville, TN.

Her team of professionals at CPACG includes a Certified Financial Planner as well as other CPA’s whose varied experience promotes a collaborative approach in assisting clients in many industries including manufacturing, health care, real estate, construction, retail, restaurants, creative, professionals and much more. 

Cathy serves as Treasurer for Nashville OIC and participates in community events such as Nashville Cares, the Boulevard Bolt, Making Strides against Breast Cancer, and National MS Society’s Jack N Back.

 
Laramey Lawson / Member-at-Large (2009 - 2012)

Laramey started his professional career with Tennessee-based advertising agencies – PENCO, Lavidge & Assocaties and Roberts & Eichel. He worked in various roles with responsibilities that ranged from creative to media to accounting.

 

 

In 1990, he joined GS&F in Nashville as Media Planner/Buyer. During the past 19 years he has advanced to Senior Vice President, Media Director responsible for annual total media billings of over $30 million.

During his 34 years as a Nashville resident, Laramey has contributed time and resources to Nashville CARES, the Nashville Advertising Federation, Hands on Nashville and the Humane Society. Most recently he served as the boutique liaison co-chair for Still Unpredictable and board member for the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (Emmys).

 
Jeremy Davis / Member-at-Large (2011 - 2012)

For nearly two decades, Jeremy Davis has been a highly regarded turnaround and startup leader in the banking industry. A proven, results-oriented executive mastering the ability to motivate and influence positive change. 

The successful navigation through the current market environment has earned Davis an esteemed place at the forefront of new business banking & mortgage solutions. Previously honored by the Nashville Business Journal as one of Nashville’s Top 40 most influential business leaders under 40, Davis has exemplified a rare mastering of sales productivity and operational efficiency that transcends multiple facets of the banking industry from retail and commercial banking to credit policy and wealth management. Although his experience has been wide ranging, Davis continues to see himself as a passionate mortgage banker and was honored in 2008 by the Southeastern Association of Mortgage Banking for distinguished industry leadership. 

Jeremy Davis is currently leading a strategic growth initiative for Fifth Third Bank and is based in downtown Nashville.

 
Jason Facio / Member-at-Large (2011 - 2012)

Jason Facio is co-owner of “ELAN HAIR, the salon to the arts” located in the Green Hills area. He has worked with many non-profit arts organizations such as Nashville Ballet, The Frist Center for the Visual Arts, and Nashville Opera. Currently he serves on the Board of the Belcourt Theatre and in 2007 chaired Oscar Night America. He has been a supporter of HRC Federal Club, Tennessee Equality Project and The Brooks Fund.

 
Pamela S. Sheffer / Member-At-Large (2011-2012)

Pamela has passionately pursued issues of social justice within the LGBT community for most of her adult life through support of the Human Rights Campaign, her membership with the Nashville LGBT Chamber of Commerce, and through her Advisory Board position with the Brooks Fund, which awards grants to non-profit organizations who support the LGBT community.

Pamela is an experienced professional in marketing, sales, service and product training. She has a reputation as an innovated instructor, motivator, and leader in her previous career as a sales executive in the corporate health insurance industry. After 22 years in sales and marketing, Pamela left her successful career specifically to address the lack of resources available to LGBT youth in Middle Tennessee. She is currently working full time, in a volunteer capacity, at Oasis Center developing programs and services specifically for LGBT youth.

A second generation Floridian, Pamela earned a B.S in Communications from Florida Southern College, where she was a NCAA Division II scholarship athlete.

 
Brian Fitzpatrick / Member-at-Large (2012)

Brian Fitzpatrick is an Associate Professor of Law at Vanderbilt University.  His research at Vanderbilt has focused on class action litigation, federal courts, judicial selection and constitutional law.

 
Sheika Taylor / Member-at-Large (2012)

Sheika L. Taylor defines creativity. Her natural ability in art, complimented by Belmont University Education in Design Communication, over 10 years Graphic Design experience, and training in screen printing assists her as an entrepreneur. Currently a middle school art teacher, Taylor encourage students to build dreams while she fabricate hers. Her desire to create a shopping experience for female consumers who prefer mens\' clothing inspired her to launch a brand. Taylor added the title as Fashion Entrepreneur in 2006, when she revealed Verandeno Clothing. The elusive Verandeno trademark derived by combining her favorite word "perseverance" and the name of her late brother, "Cedeno." Classy style, unique graphics and popularity of the attractive "V" logo has generated attention amongst diverse consumers. Quick growth caused brand expansion that is bringing Verandeno Clothing a step closer to her idea of establishing a non-traditional shopping  environment, which supports her brand\'s unique gender neutral image.

 
Scott Glasgow / Member-at-Large (2012)

Scott Glasgow is the Director of Corporate and Special Events for Incredible Dave’s.  He has relocated to Nashville after 26 years in NYC where he worked most recently as the Director of Marketing for Growing Generations, the nations leading agency, creating GLBT families.
